inspiration board #55: with love from Paris

Good morning readers! What have you been up to this weekend? Perhaps, with the sun temporarily missing from our skies, you’ve been catching up on your favourite blogs and inspiration?  I’ve been busy working on yet another exciting styled shoot, this one is something rather different and we’re having a lot of fun planning it!  You may be wondering where all these shoots I’ve been working on have disappeared to? They are coming, I promise, via a multitude of different media over the next few months that I am extremely excited about, it will be worth the wait!! In the meantime, why not have a look at some of the shoots I styled last year.

At the end of this month, I am styling a very special shoot for the couple who won our love shoot in Paris giveaway earlier this year.  Photographer Anneli Marinovich and I will be heading off to the City of Love with the gorgeous Kate and fiancé Andy to create some beautiful images and memories for the two of them, before they tie the knot just two weeks later!

To get us in the mood, today I’m sharing not one but two of my inspiration boards for the shoot! A little different from my usual wedding inspiration, these are less about details and props, and more about colour, feeling and emotions.  I wanted to include some of Kate and Andy’s likes and loves, see if you can guess what some of them are! To start off with this Monday morning is this beautiful pretty board, full of muted pastels and greys it has a soft and romantic feel with an easy elegant style capturing the spirit of Paris.

With Spring time upon us, I’m sure many of you are planning engagement shoot with your photographer before the big day.  Not only is it a great way to get to know your photographer, and learn to relax infront of the lens, it’s also an opportunity for you to capture a more relaxed version of yourselves in contrast to your wedding portraits.  So, have some fun and think about the type of images you’d like to create, the concept doesn’t have to be fancy!  Perhaps you love cooking breakfast together, so have a brunch shoot at home, or you love going to the hottest gigs in town and venture to one with your photographer to get some crazy cool images that you probably won’t recreate on your wedding day!  Whatever your style, why not have a think about it?  And if you’d like some inspiration for your session, b.loved Styling is here to help too.

Louise

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
