inspiration board #92: emerald & gold
Good morning lovelies! How was your weekend? It’s been snowing pretty much non-stop here in South West London, but that hasn’t stopped me filling my weekend with prettiness! Anneli, Liz, Emily, Catharine and I got together for the next b.team mini-shoot, which will be available for your viewing pleasure in just a couple of weeks time. I’ll give you a clue… it’s full of spring time pastels and you are ‘sew’ going to love it!! But that’s all I’m going to share for now.
Today, I’m indulging my love of emerald! I mentioned this elegant shade of green in my 2013 trend predictions last week, lots of you were loving it so I wanted to share a little inspiration today to give you some ideas for combining this fresh tone into your w-day decor. For a super glam scheme and a little laid-back luxury, team with gold touches. Bridesmaids look gorgeous in emerald dresses, it’s one of those rare colours that suits all types of skin tones, add simple white bouquets for daytime chic and a little gold sequin shrug for evening glamour. Pair your dress with elegant satin shoes in green for an unexpected pop of colour. For a really modern punch, these colours look fab with black & white stripes adding a sophisticated touch to stationery and structure to your reception tables.
So what do you think? Will you be indulging in a little emerald glamour on your big day?
