It’s Thursday and I’m back with another on-trend idea for your big day!

One of my favourite trends right now is the dessert table.  Perhaps it’s something to do with my sweet tooth, but I truly believe you can never have too much cake! Especially on your wedding day.  So rather than your cake sitting forlorn and forgotten in the corner of your reception venue, give it wow factor giving it centre-stage on a dessert table.  The trick is to combine different treats in your colour scheme at varying heights to create layers that are eye-catching and look tempting!  Forget the sit-down dessert and treat your guests to mini-macrons, cookies and cupcakes, or even jelly shots, fruit sticks and sweets for a memorable experience that your guests will love, and get the dance floor up and running sooner too!  We love this eye-catching monochrome design from Tempting Cake.
