it’s all in the details: fruit & veg {thursday trend}

Afternoon folks! I had such a great reaction to our new ‘Thursday Trends’ feature, so I’m really happy to bring you another fantastic trend this week that’s just as easy to incorporate into your own day.

We’ve seen fruit and veg popping up in wedding bouquets and table décor more and more over the past few months and we’re absolutely loving this idea!  We spotted this trend in action this week in The Ebury Collection’s dreamy secret garden shoot, captured by Sarah Gawler, where stylist Hannah and florist LK Lily incorporated juicy berries and lush artichokes into the centrepieces and bouquet. Simply gorgeous.

If you want to embrace this trend consider the season, jewel coloured berries for an autumn or winter wedding, or fresh greens for a spring celebration, speak to your florist for more ideas of how you can incorporate them into your day.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
