it’s all in the details: pretty chevron cakes {thursday trend}
Hello lovers!
A little Thursday cake-spiration for you all this afternoon in the style of some chevron-tastic creations! Chevrons (zig-zag lines) are a trend that have been around a little while in bridal shoots and inspiration, but they haven’t quite burst onto the real wedding scene just yet. Well ladies, I think that might just be about to change. You see, there’s the classic modern chevron cake, like the one on the left below. All clean lines and crisp graphics this is a cake for the über-trendy city bride. But recently I’ve been spying a few more pretty options for a chevron cake that I wanted to share!

For the modern romantic bride a feminine palette of pastels and metallics, round tiers, and the most delicate florals create a super soft and pretty look.
