Jennie + Casey’s Elegant Mansion Wedding

Jennie and Casey’s elegant wedding at Highlands Ranch Mansion, is filled with elegance, pretty pastel colours and magnificent florals! Amy Caroline Photography captured the day ad we love her attention to detail with lovely little displays with precious pieces such as Jennie’s beautiful engagement ring, bridal shoes and Casey’s boutonniere. We adore outdoor ceremonies here at B.LOVED and were delighted to see what Jennie + Casey had done to create theirs! With the glamorous mansion in the background, they used statement floral designs by MJM Designs, and a beautiful arch to stand by. It has beautiful soft drapes and wonderful florals and created a really lovely setting whilst of course not disrupting the view of the mansion.

For their wedding reception they chose a neutral colour base which let the pastel pink, lilac and peaches shine from the flowers, lovely glassware and runners. Amy tells us more about the atmosphere and you can find a lovely little Q+A with Jennie and Casey after the photos. “Everything about this day was timeless, and full charming, nostalgic, and romantic details. These two adore Disney, and wanted their wedding to reflect their very own classic fairytale, with candlelight and a perfectly dreamy atmosphere they really did have their perfect day”

We originally met back in 2007 when I was the hockey manager for Metropolitan State University and Casey was on the team. We became friends during the season and Casey only played for 1 year and I didn’t see him after that. Fast forward to the summer of 2011 and through a mutual friend, Casey and I re-met whilst out downtown Denver at a bar called Maloney’s on June 25th, 2011. From that night on, we hung out the rest of the summer together as friends, watching movies, having dinner dates, etc. which later turned into a weekend trip to Steamboat Springs together where our relationship blossomed into what it is today.

The vision for our wedding was very romantic, whimsical, and romantic glamour. Our color palette included creams, ivories, light grays, rose quartz, light blush, accents of gold, and a grayish purple. We chose The Highlands Ranch Mansion after looking a few different options, we knew from the moment we stepped on the mansion grounds that that was going too be where we began the next chapter of our lives.

Casey and his groomsmen wore tuxes from Ted’s Clothiers. Casey’s tux was custom made and the groomsmen were rentals. The bridesmaids wore dresses from Azazie and they were all able to pick out what style top they wanted but they all had the same material bottom. The color of the dresses were called Dusk. My dress was from The Bridal Collection and the designer was Pronovias, and the dress was the Orilla. I had some custom work done to the dress including, creating more of a sweetheart neck line, I had the back of the dress dipped in the back into more of a “v” shape. I also had about 2 feet cut off of the train, I also added a belt to the dress made by Casablanca. My veil was a custom veil that was made by Tony Federici and was 130 inches.

We really focused on our food and our photographer. Those were the 2 things we felt would be the most memorable. We did not want out guests too experience the typical “wedding food” so we opted for food stations! Everything was very important too us for that day as we wanted our guests to enjoy every aspect and leave with a memorable experience!

Our flowers were absolutely STUNNING!! Guests could not stop talking about them all day! Every arrangement was soft, lush, whimsical, romantic, and just overall gorgeous! I think the photos of our flowers speak for themselves and how perfect they were. I wish I could have kept all of them and somehow made them last forever. My bouquet was my favorite out of all the flowers we had. There were white O’Hara roses, hydrangeas, lisianthus, spray roses, blushing bride protea, astible or misty, jasmine vine, and a variety of eucalyptus in the arrangements!

The first look is at the top of this list. It was so nice being able too share this moment together and experience all of the emotion that comes with your wedding day. It was nice being able too get out some jitters before hand.

We loved our ceremony, especially when reading our vows to one another. Our vows truly showcased who we are as a couple and let people know a little more about us and our relationship. We wanted our wedding day to be filled with lots of love, laughter and celebration of Casey and I and those who had been on this journey with us over the previous 6 1/2 years. We both loved spending time with our bridal party getting ready the morning of the wedding. I had rented a house for me and my girls to spend the night at after the rehearsal dinner as well as for getting ready the next morning. It was so nice being able to sit and talk, laugh and make new memories on one of the most important days of my life! Casey and his guys went to Top Golf the morning of the wedding before heading too the mansion to get ready. He loved having this time with the boys in such a fun environment.
