She’s our go to for delicious catering and gorgeous grazing tables! Together with The Brand Studio they created a romantic wedding inspiration shoot beautiful plum and fig colour tones at Northbrook Park!
ABOUT THE DETAILS
Relaxed, informal laid-back luxe. With grazing and sharing platters set to be one of 2019’s biggest trends, we took inspiration from relaxed Italian family-style dining to create a tablescape where the simple pleasure of dining with friends takes on a wedding-worthy vibe.
THE COLOUR PALETTE
We used natural textures and a palette of plum, fig and sage green to create a warm and inviting look that draws guests in to this delicious feast, bringing together the two main elements of the shoot; delicious food and beautiful florals.
To keep the florals relaxed and organic Ruth from All for Love used mainly olive and eucalyptus foliage both in the arrangements and trailing along the table. She brought in colour with deep plum chyrsanthamums, astilbe and astrantia and added depth with black ivy berries. As a nod to the foodie inspired shoot, she also incorporated fresh blackberry branches, figs, plums and pomegranates into the floral styling.
3 TIPS TO CREATE THIS LOOK
- Use a mix of heirloom and more contemporary pieces to create a timeless look.
- Intertwine the florals and the food as to create a beautifully styled tablescape. So often the food styling is an oversight – added to the table only after the guests are seated.
- This approach is a great way to encourage guest interaction and create a unique guest experience.
