Good Afternoon lovelies! Hope you’ve all been well! I think it is safe to say Autumn has definitely set in and Winter is on its way…yes I’m afraid so. Frosts have begun and as I slowly open my eyes in the morning and pull open the curtains, a morning mist greets me. Autumn to me will always be of berry reds and rusty copper oranges, but I will always associate it with misty mornings too, and there we have my inspiration for you gorgeous lot today.

BLOVED Love in the Mist Pale Grey Wedding Inspiration by Goose & BerryMist and fog conjures up images of soft and pale greys, blues and purples, dewy grass and hazy, cool sunrises. Using these tones in your flowers works so well and creates that dreamy, romantic look. A beautiful blue bloom called ‘Love In The Mist’ is the perfect choice, mixed with grey foliage and asparagus fern. Tableware can be built up in these soft colours, mixing and matching as you wish, building as much depth of colour as you like. Tulle is the perfect choice for this misty inspiration! It’s wispy and fine nature, with lots of layers is the ideal material for wedding dresses, perhaps even in a soft dove grey, and also used in veils and as ribbon or used as an additional layer over your table linen. Consider adding soft furnishings in a similar material or as an addition to your reception furniture. A ruffled cake with some pastel patisserie would complement the décor and mirror the flowy texture of the tulle. Add in some metallic silver for that extra glam touch! Some watercolour, washed out grey or blue stationery with calligraphy font would finish the look beautifully.

Reception Furniture

Adding furniture to your reception space will add touches of your own personal taste to the décor and will add a fab lounge area where guests can go to relax if they wish. Kit and Caboodle offer a great range of furniture to hire and can create bespoke pieces for your wedding day.

Wedding Cake

A ruffled cake looks fabulous whatever the occasion and matches the love in the mist theme beautifully,, especially in a soft grey or silver tone. The cake in the inspiration board was created by the wonderful Cakes by Krishanthi and she could make similar for you.

Pastel or silver shades with an element of pearl or crystal add the luxury touch to this look and paired with a fabulous tulle dress will create the most magical of bridal looks. This particular pair are by Emmy London
