love shoot #28: family fun {vicki & steve}

Hey lovelies!  Are you ready for a treat?  Well, kick back and relax because I have an adorable shoot to share with you today!  Wonderful photographer Fiona Kelly submitted Vicki & Steve’s pre-wedding shoot a few weeks ago, and I’ve been dying to share it ever since.  I love that it’s a couple shoot and family shoot all rolled into one, it”s clear this little family are very much in love.  It’s a great idea for couples with children to involve them in the planning as well as your big day, so why not involve them in your pre-wedding shot too?

And there’s even better news, not only am I finally sharing Vicki & Steve’s engagment shoot with you today, but tomorrow I will be sharing their elegant vintage-inspired wedding which took place in one of my favourite places, The Bingham in Richmond!

Vicki & Steve make the most beautiful couple, but doesn’t their gorgeous little daughter absolutely steal the show?!

Here’s a few words from the bride about their relationship so far:

Our invite said it all ‘cantankerous Scotsman meets whimsical Lincolnshire lass’ in a Marylebone office in the summer of ‘05.  We were blessed with a beautiful daughter in 2008 who changed our world as we knew it and in 2011 we decided it was about time we got hitched. A rooftop proposal at Oxo Tower made it official and we set the date (rather impulsively) for 2 months after the engagement. We knew what we wanted; an intimate, quirky, relaxed, and low-key, family day. Neither of us are especially organised and we liked the spontaneity of it.

Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for their wedding gorgeousness!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
