love shoot #43: 50 first dates {reuben & estelle}

Morning all!  Hope you are all well?  I am stuck in bed for the fifth day with a horrid chest infection which just won’t budge :(  Lots of hot tea and soup for me.  But I have a lovely little shoot coming up this morning that I hope will cheer me up!

Also, as a little side note for my professional wedding friends, I made a little announcement on twitter yesterday that I will be accepting sponsors as of next month!  Click here to find out more.  Brides, these lovely  passionate people believe in unique, creative and personal style and really do care about your wedding as much as you do!  I’ll be introducing them to you from 1st October.

Anyway, back to today!  This really  fun shoot which I received a few weeks ago is from lovely photography duo, Lewis and Louise McMaster, of BlackBox Photograpy.  A talented and creative team, their passion for what they do really shows through in their dynamic and fun images!

Today’s lovely couple have been through a lot together, so it’s fitting that the theme for their engagement shoot was 50 First Dates!  They started off at home with beautiful bride to be Estelle making everyone banana pancakes, and followed by a series of ‘dates’ at some of their favourite places including a pizza place, pub and a boat house!  I really love the way they brought their fun personalities into the mix, with a handful of quirky props and even a vintage video recorder as Reuben is the brilliant videographer behind “show + tell“!

Reuben popped the question last year on Estelles birthday before they headed to Japan to teach and save some money for their wedding this summer.  Sadly, after the earthquake they were forced to head home, but this didn’t stop them having fun together!

Don’t you just love the idea of an engagement shoot including all the things and places you love?  Thanks Estelle & Reuben for sharing your story!  I hope your wedding is filled withas much variety, fun and laughter! xx

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
