love shoot: springtime in paris ~ part 3 {kate & andy}

Time for the third, and final, part of our Paris shoot today! If you missed Part 1 and Part 2, be sure not to miss out! You can also see more on photographer Anneli Marinovich’s blog today, here and here!

This is the bit where I was really able to go to town with Paris-inspired props, to create a pretty scene in the beautiful Jardin de Luxumbourg.  With a romantic picnic-a-deux in mind, I brought along some gorgeous peonies and macaroons, and asked Kate and Andy to bring a few of their favourite things to include in the shoot, including their favourite books!  With Kate’s gorgeous pink Lacey dress from Maids to Measure, accessorised with a super pretty sash from Victoria Mary Vintage, and Andy’s relaxed ensemble (seriously, how cool is that flat cap?!) we went for a soft and romantic vibe.

Kate & Andy tied the knot in an awesome celebration not even two weeks ago! Want to know more?

“As for our wedding theme…. I guess there’s a touch of vintage and rock’n’roll, with old movies, music etc… So I guess you could call it a Vock ‘n’ Rintage wedding lol! We had old film posters for the seating plan’s with our guest names replacing the names of the film stars, we had a cinema room which showed charlie chaplin and other old films, it also had a photo booth which went wild. We had people sign a blue guitar instead of a guestbook, and Andy got up to sing instead of doing a speech”

This is one wedding you don’t want to miss (believe me, I’ve seen the sneak peeks!) coming to a blog near you soon!

Now for a huge amount of thank you’s! Firstly to the wonderful photographer Anneli Marinovich who captured such beautiful images, and amazing memories I hope Kate & Andy will treasure for so many years to come.  Without her, none of this shoot would have been possible, so a huge big thank you for choosing to offer this amazing prize on b.loved! A big thank you also to Anneli’s husband, Wayne, himself a very talented photographer providing the behind-the-scenes shots, and my own wonderful husband, on hand with props, bags, brollies and drinks throughout the whole weekend!  To all the wonderful suppliers who lent dresses, accessories, jewellery and props to make everything look picture perfect (credited below). And finally a huge THANK YOU to Kate & Andy, for being a completely adorable, gorgeous couple! For taking the time to spend three days with us, posing relentlessly for photo’s, putting up with the rain, and graciously waving and smiling at all the curious passers-by and crowds that gathered everywhere we started shooting!  You were the most deserving, and awesome couple to work with!  I wish you both so many happy years and treasured memories together.  Congratulations on your wedding last week, and I can’t wait to see the photo’s!! xo

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
