love shoot: vintage railway {laura & alex}
Good day my beautiful beloveds! I hope you are all having a lovely week so far and the wedding plans are coming together nicely!
Today I’m delighted to share the work of Danielle Benbow, a creative wedding photographer with a cute and quirky style I really admire. Laura & Alex’s engagement shoot on the railway, is the perfect setting, capturing their fun personalities, and love of rustic-vintage-travel, which just so happens to be the theme of their wedding!

The first time Alex came to meet the family was at Christmas. We had the most amazing day out at Brancaster beach. It had snowed so was even more beautiful than usual. My nephews at the time we’re really young & we had such a great time walking along the beach & throwing snowballs.
We now live together in London but last June, 6 years after our first visit, Alex took me back to Brancaster & proposed on the beach. We then went back to meet my family at a pub in my home town for a few too many glasses of champagne. Alex knows how much home & my family mean to me so his proposal was perfect.
Norfolk is also the setting of our wedding, in the church where my grandparents were married, followed by a reception in the gardens of an estate where my grandad, who recently passed away, was a tree keeper in the beautiful grounds & forest. I suppose the link to my grandparents might be partly responsible for the vintage theme. The country setting also lends itself to rustic features, our love of travelling is touched on with luggage tags and a vintage suitcase for our table plan. Danielle’s style of photography sits perfectly with our theme & quirks!
If this shoot is anything to go by, Laura & Mark’s wedding is going to be a quirky, cool stunner!
