A couple of weeks ago I was thrilled to share the exclusive first look at the brand new Luella’s Boudoir Wedding Dress Collection, 2016 on B.LOVED.  Their first in-house collection, designed in collaboration with British bridal designer Charlotte Casadejus, it’s already got the wedding world buzzing with it’s unique take on bridal fashion.  We’re not just smitten with the campaign images (although shot in Spain with photographer Ashlee Taylor we’re sure you’ll agree they are pretty special!) but the exquisite care and attention to detail that has gone into making this collection fresh and different!

Before officially revealing the collection to Luella’s brides, Rachel and her team opened up their beautiful new boutique in Wimbledon Village to the press and wedding industry for a sneak peek, and we were on hand with Maxeen Kim Photography to capture the new collection in action as well as all the pretty in this gorgeous bridal haven.

We caught up with boutique owner Rachel at the launch  –

“We are so excited to be able to be able to launch our first ever Luella’s Wedding Dress Collection. The collection has taken over 8 months to produce and includes seven unique designs and a selection of matching belts and accessories. The collection is a mixture of Modern Bohemian designs with a British Victoriana influence and the styles are all reflective of Luella’s effortless bridal style.

Today’s event is to launch the collection to the press and we have been joined by Charlotte Casadejus who assisted with the design of the dresses, our partners Harriet Parry, Illumin8, Violet & Wren and Velvet Living. The dresses will be available in the boutique from this coming weekend and we can’t wait to show them to our brides”

Taking the lead from years working with fashion-conscious brides, the new collection offers something totally differerent whilst still maintaining that classic bridal feel.  For the vintage bride, the beautiful Odile with it’s French cornelli lace and antique style is the perfect choice, while for the modern romantic bride Zara ticks all the boxes with light flowing skirt and gorgeous gold metallic detailing.  If I had to pick an ultimate favourite it would be Una, with delicate blush pearl detail on the sleeves this is surely one of the prettiest dresses you’ve ever seen!

The thing we love most about Luella’s is how much the team look after their brides. With the full collection designed and made in England, and available exclusively at Luella’s Boudoir, brides have the chance not just to find their ultimate dress but also the opportunity to tweak and change the design and colour to suit their own wedding day look. And as a special touch, all brides ordering their dress at Luella’s also recieve a special gift box from Velvet Living or gift from Violet & Wren.

We think you’ll love the collection as much as we do, check it out at or book an appointment to try on your favourite now!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
