Megan + Matthew’s Luxe and Lovely Wedding at the Four Seasons

Megan and Matthew created a beautiful contemporary wedding filled with colour, flowers and modern details! Captured by Jenny DeMarco Photography, we get to see their glamorous outdoor ceremony followed by a reception hosted inside a lovely modern wedding marquee – letting in lots of light and so on trend right now! “Megan and Matthew knew that they wanted an outdoor reception under the big trees in Austin, Texas. They achieved that goal by hosting their wedding in a well-lit, romantic greenhouse-style tent at the Four Seasons hotel, sharing the beautiful evening with lots of friends and family.

“Everything was so perfect,” says Megan, but one of her favorite details was a memorial wall for her mother and best friend Anne, who had both passed away. The live music and Mexican martinis were also highlights for the couple. Plus, Megan made everyone’s welcome gift boxes, filled with snacks, whiskey and other treats, with some help from their wedding party. “There was a point during the reception that Matthew and I walked to the back of the tent and got to take everything in,” Megan recalls. “Watching all of our friends having a great time, taking over the dance floor and even spilling out over the edge. We just thought, ‘Wow, this is better than we could have dreamed of.’”

For couples planning their weddings, Megan says the best thing they did was hiring their wedding planner and also taking their time between getting engaged and getting married, since they were starting new jobs and moving.”
