A Modern Midsummer Nights Dream

Ioana Porav Photography and Inspired by Susie Evens share their modern meets Shakespeare inspiration for a wedding at The Hyde Estate. We love their white and blue colour palette and creative ideas such as Amanda Jane Flowers chic square backdrop with a flourish of florals – perfect for the ceremony and also wedding selfies! Don’t miss B.LOVED Edit Member, MonAnnie showstopping cake design too!

“The idea behind ‘A Modern Shakespeare’ was to keep the styling fresh and current but with a twist of the traditional. The Shakespeare play I had in mind when organising my mood board was A Midsummer Nights Dream. (My absolute favourite!) and the venue is exactly that…a leafy dream! When I approached Susie, she helped bring my vision to life. We are the first to exclusively shoot at The Hyde Estate! I love all things modern and geometric so I felt like combining ‘Modern and Shakespeare’ could lead to the edgy and dreamy fusion I had in mind. Highlights include a white, square picture frame arch with floating clouds of Gypsophila, Jaw-dropping natural backdrops, hand-painted chocolates and modern, cutting edge Bridal and Grooms wear. The colours injected, were blue, white and hints of gold

All in all, the perfect balance for a refined, modish day!”
