Modern Oasis Micro-Wedding at Joshua Tree
The Story: A modern oasis in Southern Calfornian set amongst iconic Joshua trees. This minimalist micro-wedding takes inspiration from the breathtaking surroundings for a unique desert ceremony.
The Location: Joshua Tree National Park in California, near Palm Springs. Famous for its distinct yucca brevifolia trees, this is an iconic national park made up of two deserts, the higher Mojave Desert and the Colorado Desert. Each has its own unique ecosystem. An ideal setting for a modern desert cool vibe.
The Vibe: A desert inspired minimalist micro-wedding with a pop of colour. The palm arch constructed by Noble Floral Co was a striking feature used to set apart a ceremony space from the vast desert. The bride’s BHLDN x Jenny Yoo gown was a chic and timeless addition.
The Details: Warm touches of blush and corals were woven throughout the details including the stunning tablescape, the stationery suite, the buttercream cake with modern geometric detailing and the silk ribbon holding the bride’s bouquet together. A mix of dried and fresh florals were used in all of the flower elements to create a dramatic, on-theme look.
- The combination of dried flowers and fresh blooms like rustic Menta Roses created a unique look which works well for a boho or desert wedding.
- Bright corals with a dramatic palm tree altar created a luxe boho desert chic look.
- The combination of digital and film photography created a warm and rich look which married perfectly with the desert setting.
