open day at tullibole castle {scottish wedding venue}
Morning lovelies! Did you all take a break from the planning last night to watch the Opening Ceremony? Wasn’t it EPIC?!! Wow, wow, wow, what a time to be British. So immensely proud of this little nation and all we have achieved. I went to bed feeling incredibly inspired and excited about the new few weeks, Go Team GB!!
This morning I wanted to sneak in an extra little post for you! It’ not often I post about wedding venues, but they are one of, if not the most important choice you will make about your day, setting the tone and style. When choosing the venue for our own wedding all our research was all done online (kind of goes with the territory when planning a wedding 6,000 miles away!) and so rather tough. I looked at literally hundreds of venues, but still vividly remember the moment I clicked through to the homepage of Morgansvlei Estate, the stunning venue that would host our dream day. It took my breath away in an instant, and I think the venue I’m sharing today might just do the same for you.
Tullibole Castle in Kinross, Scotland is just picture perfect. Dating back to the 17th Century, and Grade-A listed, the majestic home of Lord and Lady Moncreiff is steeped in family history and romantic tales. From intimate weddings in the Great Hall, to large celebrations in the Carriage House and Terrace the castle provides a beautiful, serene backdrop to your wedding and can be exclusively yours for the day. The stunning moat, medieval ruins and a maze offer some fun and unusual spots for your bridal portraits too (oh, please if you’re getting married here submit your wedding!) But don’t take my word for it, pop in on Sunday 12th August and see for yourself as Tullibole Castle hosts a Wedding Open Day. The house will be dressed to inspire you and experienced staff on hand to advise how you can use the different spaces for your own day, with light refreshments and canapes provided by Wild Tyme.
