Raw and Rustic
It’s all about the lovely feminine details with a rustic luxe feel today with this beautiful styled shoot by Anouschka Rokebrand Photography as part of her recent Fine Art Photography workshop. Set within a majestic Cathedral with authentic features, and a fantastic vaulted ceiling with light pouring in through the many windows. I adore the arched elements of both the ceiling but also the walls of the Cathedral which created the perfect backdrop for the editorial. The walls have a unique pattern from years of history and this creates the most beautiful scars found only within such special places.
Anouschka tells us more about the shoot styled by Best Day Ever Events and it’s lovely details! “This bridal boudoir editorial was created for my April fine art wedding photography workshop. The venue is an old cathedral, very raw and rustic but when combined with soft materials, also very romantic. And that’s just what we used for the styling of this shoot: soft materials. We used a French lace robe from Mes Petites Dentelles, combined with crochet lace lingerie from Victoria’s Secret.
The bouquet, created by Fleuropean with flowers from her own garden, was soft and organic, in natural shades, adorned with silk ribbons. Sage green and creams were the main colours for this shoot with a touch of blush/pink. The look and feel for the shoot was romantic, timeless and elegant.”
