real wedding: diamonds and sparkle {tina & keith}

Morning bridettes! Today I’m feeling very happy! This weekend I was working with some lovely & talented wedding peeps on an amazing styled shoot. I am soooo excited to share the images with you, but for now they are being kept closely under wraps! To get an idea of what we were up to, Victoria Mary Vintage has a sneaky behind the scenes post up on her blog, The Charleston Times ;)
One of the things I love most about this little love-filled blog is that I get to share so many different kinds of wedding with you. In my opinion, there is nothing better than love, and it comes in all different forms just like weddings. So it doesn’t matter if it’s big or small, extravagant or budget, DIY, vintage, classic or modern, so long as there’s love at the heart you will find it on b.loved!
Today I have a gorgeous little wedding courtesy of Lincolnshire-based wedding photographer Ali Lovegrove. Ali specialises in natural and unobtrusive photography, filled with love, just the kind I like! Tina & Keith chose to get married just ‘because they wanted to’ and I simply can’t argue with that! Their love-filled wedding in Lincoln was classic in style, with beautiful coral florals and elegant details.
We met when I worked at Laura Ashley in Lincoln with Keith’s daughter, Hannah. He used to pop in occasionally to see Hannah so we would say hello. One day, Keith asked Hannah if I was single. I said she could give him my phone number, and the rest is history! Keith proposed while we were on holiday in Turkey, he got down on one knee while we were dining at a rooftop restaurant, it was so romantic!

We chose The Lincoln Hotel in the bail of Lincoln, because it was just the right size for our intimate family celebration and a perfect location.
We decided to have a small wedding because we just wanted to get married! It wasn’t about having loads of people and presents, we just wanted our family and close friends to be part of the first day of the rest of our lives together.
My dress and the colour scheme were really important, I had to have everything matching, we even had matching confetti! The rest of the inspiration came from me, I am a magpie – anything that sparkles I have to have! So our theme was diamonds and sparkle!
We chose our photographer carefully, as without a great photographer you miss seeing all those very special moments.
What was your first dance, and how did you choose the song?
Thank you to Tina & Keith for sharing your pretty day!
