If you’re a London girl like me the thought of escaping to beautiful lush green valleys and breathtaking views for your wedding is a welcomed thought right!?

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of visiting the rural haven of the Ribble Valley for a tour of wedding venues, so it’s only fair I share with you some of the hidden gems discovered…

Whether you are looking for a contemporary country house, a rustic rural barn or a luxury 16th century manor house, one thing is for sure, you will have the most wonderful views along with a warm and friendly service.

Over the course of 2 days, I visited 8 venues all with their own unique charms, space and able to tailor a day that would be memorable for any couple.

One of my personal favourites is Eaves Hall, which is exclusively yours! A stunning 21st century country house which can accommodate 120 guest for the wedding breakfast and 250 for the evening reception.  Set in the most beautiful gardens offering a fantastic backdrop. The hall also offers a luxury lodge and 30 bedrooms ranging from suites to twins and singles to cater for all your guests.

If however, you are looking for something a little more intimate then the Shireburn Arms, a quintessentially English country inn could be the answer.  Set in the heart of the village Hurst Green, the inn can accommodate 100 guest in its function room and has the most beautiful view from its gardens.  The food is fabulous and you can also enjoy a drink next to an open burning fire, if you opt for a winter wedding! To top it off they also offer 18 individually designed bedrooms.

With no two venues being the same, you really are spoilt for choice.  Perhaps you would prefer The Tithe Barn set in the grounds of Browsholme Hall which is the oldest surviving family home in Lancashire.  The barn is licenced to hold civil wedding ceremonies and an exclusive reception for 50-200 guests. Everything is completely tailored to you and your day, allowing the couple to suggest their own theme, colour, food, drink and entertainment.  The gardens also offer countless opportunities for socializing, fun games and photographs.
