Romantic Arzino Valley Elopement
Elopements are becoming more and more popular and today we welcome this beautiful inspiration in Italy by Amanda Karen Photography. Here she is to tell you more about it, “This gorgeous Italian styled wedding shoot was set in the grounds of Count Ceconi Castle, in the heart of the Arzino Valley. With inspiration drawn from the stunning surroundings, the muted tones of the castle stone and complimenting the breath taking valley surroundings. The ethos behind this wedding shoot was to bring a relaxed and modern feel to the historic traditional setting of the castle whilst keeping it simple and attainable for couples looking to elope to this stunning setting.
The bride was dressed in an exquisite Kate Halfpenny gown with intricate lace detailing on the bodice and floaty chiffon skirt which added both an elegant and whimsical air to the bride. Our groom was dashingly dressed in a Ted Baker suit and patterned shirt which created both a relaxed feel whilst of course maintaining the style and sophistication of an Italian wedding. Romantic calligraphy penned notes were shared between the couple, a romantic addition to a first look or as a way to personalise wedding vows. The calligraphy was extended through the travel inspired stationery and the table décor. Rose wine accented the blush and natural tones of the table, with greenery and delicate florals taken from the castle grounds.
The beauty of an Italian wedding is not only in the gorgeous surroundings and of course dreamy light, it’s being able to celebrate your wedding outdoors, amongst the trees, Mediterranean nature at its finest.”
