Romantic Countryside Wedding Venue Tour: South Farm, Cambridgeshire

Happy Monday Lovelies! We do hope that you have had a lovely weekend! We’re excited to introduce you to a beautiful wedding venue we visited recently, with a photographic tour by Catharie Noble Photography! Say hello to South Farm, it could well be mistaken for a country house in France with it’s chic yellow manor house and climbing red roses – but it is actually nestled in the beautiful countryside bordering Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

Today we’re taking you on a tour of the charming South Farm, where you will see it’s stunning gardens – well just a snippet of them really as there are SO many beautiful spaces to explore here! Something we really loved about this venue is the delightful countryside setting, perfect for Couples looking for an exclusive hire wedding venue somewhere peaceful but with plenty to offer. Gardens wrap around the entire place so that you have a great variety of courtyards and spaces to hang out with your guests whilst taking in the captivating views – oh and of course there are plenty of beautiful spots for photo opportunities!

Climbing roses are aplenty at South Farm and how splendid they look – with rich bright red roses climbing the front beautiful face of South Farm which looks darling with it’s blue windows and door – and then there are oodles of white roses climbing the traditional black wooden architecture. I have never seen such an abundance of roses and it was spectacular to see! These for me would be a key running theme for a stylish wedding at South Farm.

Another beautiful thing about South Farm is that they grow all of their own food, and you can explore this in the beautiful gardens surrounding the venue. From fresh herbs to salads and heaps of different vegetables, South Farm wants to be sustainable and we love this kind ethos.

Here you can take a peek inside their beautiful bridal suite and rooms for guests with a lovely country home feel to the decor. You’ll also find a collection of beautiful traditional wooden caravans displayed which you can allocate for guests to stay over on your wedding night too! Great fun!
