Romantic Wedding Inspiration with Modern Neutrals at The Old Parish Rooms
The Wildflower Wedding Planner and fine art photographer Helen Elliott Photography bring us this beautiful wedding inspiration shoot which is a stylish fusion of romantic details and modern touches and a chic neutral colour palette! You know how much we love a contemporary neutral colour palette here at B.LOVED! Set at The Old Parish Rooms in Essex, this space really lends itself to this style of wedding where you want to mix it up with the authentic elements of an older or historical venue but with an up-to-date modern flair! We love the white brick walls which have us dreaming of all kinds of wedding ideas from industrial chic to a modern rustic wedding!
“The concept for this shoot was inspired by simplicity and a love for soft neutral hues. I wanted to combine an understated colour palette of white, nude and taupe with romantic modern styling and tactile elements.” We adore everything from the beautiful dessert table brimming with flowers by floral designer Petal + Wild + beautiful cakes by Egg + Moo’s – to the statement florals decorating the traditional parish window and staircase, and of course the stunning table-setting! The subtle use of gentle colours and delicate fabrics such as the silk runners by Pompom Blossom really lift the colour and lightness of the space when using lovely wooden tables and chairs like these from Anthology Vintage Hire. I really this look!
The first bridal look wears a beautiful modern wedding dress by designer Mila Mira from Rock the Frock Bridal, Essex. The modern style of lace and embroidery in a sheer overlay across the full bodice is so beautiful and gives a great silhouette to the waist too complimented by the full tulle skirt.
For the second bridal look below they chose a modern two piece- top and skirt by Zetterberg Couture for another fashion forward bridal look which totally suits the romantic wedding style too! I love the sweet lace top with little cap sleeves and a flattering ‘v’ neckline. Paired with a flowing skirt with the loveliest drape and movement, it’s an understated chic look and a great option for you if you want to add a hint of boho meets festival bride too!
