Romanticism Meets Minimalism at Kingsdown Rectory
Menzies Photography shares this contemporary romantic vision for a wedding at Kingsdown Rectory in the Kent countryside with wedding planner and stylist, Blonde Army and creative flowers by Iris and Co! “This editorial, entitled Romanticism Meets Minimalism – embraces the romanticism of the traditional and the modern trend of minimalism. Captured beautifully in documentary style, the moody, rich tones transport a classic and charming concept into a contemporary love story. With modern weddings trends developing towards a more personal, stripped back day but couples still wanting that traditional backdrop, we set out to demonstrate that a classic venue doesn’t necessarily dictate classic decor.
Using modern influences and considered design choices the team have certainly designed a day for the modern couple in a timeless setting. We wanted a light, clean colour palette, unstructured florals with modern elements and a real couple to model our idea.”
