Secret Cavern Bridal Boudoir in Apulia, Italy

Fine Art Photographer Lisa Digiglio and luxury wedding planner De Plan V set out to create a romantic boudoir shoot with a difference! They chose a beautiful little cavern at Masseria Montenapoleone in Apulia, the South of Italy! The sandstone coloured rocks instantly creates an artistic and interesting atmosphere, with lots of textures that counters the soft, more delicate feel of the lace robe and soft candlelight.

I love how they filled the cave with antique style candelabra with tapered candlesticks, whilst the floor is dressed with pillar candles encased in glass. Using these varying heights and a less rigid arrangement makes it the perfect soft glowing backdrop. The showstopper though has to be the magnificent crystal chandelier!

Lisa tell us more about the shoot – “Natural, elegant, ethereal and feminine, this grotto boudoir session was simply amazing. Katia is a sweet beautiful bride to be that is dreaming while is waiting for her wedding. The grotto is her magic place, where she can restore herself, where she feels comfortable and protect. Now she’s ready to become a bride.”
