Hi Lovelies! What a delight we have to inspire you today with this exquisite shoot by Madalina Sheldon Photography. Exuding gracefulness, a delicate colour palette and atmosphere and the details are as meaningful as they are beautiful! Madalina tells us more about the inspirations behind the concept and how this may inspire your wedding:
“Hoping this simple yet subtle styled shoot will inspire unique brides to be and also other vendors in the wedding industry, this project was designed to educate and encourage in planning, styling and designing a wedding or elopement as authentic and natural as possible. The choices regarding the decoration, textures and pigments were made very consciously. Artificial props were replaced by meaningful family heirlooms, the regional and seasonal florals were hand picked (magnolia branches, tulips, cherry blossoms branches and wild foliage), the textures like silk and cotton and their colours, were chosen to effortlessly underline the beauty of simplicity. The venue offered a diffuse and calm natural light which emphasised the humble styling of the bride.”
I’m completely in love with Madalina’s notion that we can include not just the pretty in our weddings but also family heirlooms which are exquisite as well as being a cherished treasure. The antique serving set is the perfect example of this. Can you imagine this being handed down from generation to generation to use for the cutting of your wedding cake! It has that wonderful sentiment to it but also works so well with the Fine Art Wedding style too.
