Hello brides-to-be!  Have you taken the b.loved style quiz yet? I’m always excited to look up your results, and while the majority of you are ‘contemporary’ brides, there’s also a lot of you looking at more classic wedding styles.  So when Jade Osborne sent over this inspiration shoot, it’s classic simplicity stuck a chord.  The combination of photography style, traditional lace dresses and understated and elegant details give this shoot a timeless, romantic style.

The traditional interior of the Residence an elegant Georgian townhouse with a muted palette and sparkling chandeliers, set the tone for the classic look, with a late 40’s flair.  A tonal palette of cream and ivory flowers is given a lift with natural foliage and berries picking out the purple highlights of the furnishings – always a great idea for creating a cohesive wedding look!

The hair and makeup feature strong red lipstick and sweeping eyeliner evocative of a bye-gone era, with bias-cut, full-length and tea-length dresses showing there are still plenty of options for the classic bride!

With beautifully simple details, a floral accent to the place settings, flower filled birdcages, and diamanté embellished stationery adds a touch of understated luxury.

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
