Soft Yet Minimal and Modern Spring Wedding Inspirations in Scotland
Caro Weiss Photography and Lemonbox Studios Ltd share their vision for a Spring wedding with the minimalist wedding trend! “We recently worked alongside a host of really talented suppliers here in Scotland to put together a styling and décor inspiration feature focusing on a contemporary and relaxed tablescape concept which celebrates handmade artisan suppliers and demonstrates modern minimalist style.
THE DECOR DETAILS
Contrast is created using black linear elements and harder finishes such as terrazzo tiles set against tactile linens, unique handmade ceramics, delicate vellum stationery and gold metallics touches for warmth. The clean details are then layered with a feast full of rich texture and colour demonstrating that tables can be both beautifully styled but still function with the current trend for family style sharing plates, overflowing with tasty food. The style is continued with an elegant cake display, a minimal graphic table plan applied to floor and wall and a simple romantic ceremony set up.
THE COLOUR PALETTE
Tell us about the colour palette + any important tips for working with this palette. Soft yet minimal and modern, spring decor inspiration shoot. With the table itself at its centre the shoot uses a feminine colour palette of blush, rust, greens and deep inky tones with soft textures alongside pops of black, minimal detailing and clean lines to create a light and airy contemporary feel within an industrial setting.
Floral installations are delicate and simple with a wild spring feel and celebrate the individual form of each stem.
