Spring Wedding Ideas with Beautiful Colours, Fresh Florals and Luxe Details

BLOVED Founder + Editor in Chief, Louise Beukes, shares her delightful Spring tablescape with her company, The Brand Studio! I just can’t get enough of these fresh Spring colour tones and the pretty modern feel. The Brand Studio is all about creating effortless brand imagery that tells the story of the person, and the business, behind it. As part of all our shoots we encourage our clients to create a tablescape that represents their own brand personality, so when planning our own brand shoot we wanted to create a table that captured the relaxed vibe, elegant styling and perfectly coordinated details we offer our clients.

It also provides perfect inspiration for couples planning Spring weddings, incorporating beautiful colours, fresh florals and luxury details. The venue, a studio next to Columbia Road Flower Market in East London, provided the perfect backdrop with plaster-coloured walls and a well-loved feel that reflects the informal nature of our work.

Complimenting this relaxed look was a key consideration in the table design, where designer & stylist Louise selected natural stoneware, recycled glassware and naturally-dyed linens in neutral shades. The florals provide a fresh burst of spring to the overall look, combining seasonal blooms in a limited palette of pastel shades to add vibrancy and personality.

THE COLOUR PALETTE

As lovers of light, bright imagery it was important that the palette for our shoot reflected this. We also wanted to bring about the feeling of a fresh, new brand image consultancy that would appeal to the wedding professionals we wanted to work with. When working with spring pastels in this relaxed style, it works well to keep the palette soft and delicate with a few pops of stronger colour that stand out in the photos.

THE FLOWERS

Amy from Bo Boutique is our go-to for creative, statement florals that retain a sense of elegance and refinement, so she was the perfect choice to create our stunning centrepiece. She combined the freshest spring flowers with foliage and branches to give the feel that the arrangement is still alive and almost growing out of the bowl.
