style your wedding with idyllic days
Afternoon my loves!
This afternoon I’ve got some gorgeous, inspirational styling to share, not only providing lots of pretty ideas for your wedding day but also all totally achievable! How? These are the exclusive images from Idyllic Days new collections, showcasing not only their beautiful array of props and crockery available to hire, but styled to perfection giving you the best idea of how they could look all together on your big day! And with cakes provided by the amazing Cakes by Krishanthi, and photography by Eddie Judd this is just the loveliest way to round off the week!
There are four collections, reflecting the hottest wedding trends for 2013:
Hessian table runners, mix of silver, mercury glass and clear crystal pieces, piles of vintage books. Perfect when styled with single blooms and blousy flowers such as dahlias together with unusual plants such as succulents. Use hale bales for laid-back seating and vintage apple crates en masse.
Pearls, crystal and an abudance of rose petals. Combine cut-glass cake stands and bonbon dishes filled with fresh flowers alongside candlesticks draped with faux pearl necklaces. Style lounge areas with a 1920s cocktail bar with Hendricks bottles and Cuban cigars, accented with vintage sewing machines.
The quintessential English tea party look. Style mismatched china teacups, teapots and jugs filled with flowers alongside bunting decoratively hung from marquee walls. Incorporate ditsy floral fabric accents and serve warm scones, finger sandwiches and afternoon tea.
Lace, lace and more lace! Pretty vintage tablecloths and lace doilies adorn tables, complemented with ribbons elegantly attached to glass jugs and jam jars. Silverware and cut-glass props are used en masse for sophisticated serve-ware.
