styled shoot: london bride magazine {vintage}

Hello & happy Tuesday!

I’m thrilled to share with you some images today from one of my favourite London wedding photographers, Fiona Kelly.  Being a London girl myself, I just couldn’t resist getting in touch with Fiona when she posted some stunning images from a recent shoot with London Bride Magazine.  Featuring some of the most iconic places in London, including shots in a London Eye pod and across the Thames to the Houses of Parliament it celebrates our beautiful and vibrant Capital city, and provides inspiration for any city bride!

The shoot featured three distinct looks, glamorous vintage, modern classic, and couture, all of which I’m delighted to share with you!  Today I am starting with the vintage look, but be sure to check back tomorrow to see a contemporary couture look featuring an amazing Ian Stuart Bride dress and a classic bride look shot in one of the pods on the London Eye!

The beautiful lace detailed dress is from Butterfly Vintage Brides, with the tea-length perfect for showing off shoes by Emmy.

The ruby red sash (bridal sashes and belts are tipped to be another top trend for 2012) is picked up in the rest of the brides outfit with a stunning bouquet of velvety red roses by Judith Blacklock and blood red lips.

The vintage look is completed with a sweeping up-do, accessorised with a beautiful asymmetric birdcage veil and another bright pop of red.

Super stunning, don’t you agree?  I think this would be the perfect look for a city winter wedding, the short dress adds a touch of fun to a very glamorous look!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

You’ll also find me working as an Editorial Stylist, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as contributing as a founding member of bridal inspiration hub Aisle Society, and running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive from our super pretty base in London. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
