supplier spotlight: short & sweet wedding dresses {phase eight}

It’s Friday lovelies!!! All being well we’ll be exchanging on our new home today and then frantically packing the rest of our life and b.loved HQ ready to move next week.  Eeeek!  Sadly it means I’m missing out on all the amazing wedding fairs that are taking place this month, but rest assured I’m keeping in touch with all our favourite suppliers, and a few new ones too!  If you’ve visited a fair this year, I’d love to hear your experiences! Leave a note below or over on my Facebook page.

As well as all the amazing independent designers and suppliers I feature on these pretty pages, I love keeping up to date with what’s going on in mainstream fashion and on our Great British high street.  Not only offering attire for your stylish wedding guests, some of my favourite brands are designing on-trend gowns for fashion-concious brides on a budget, picking up on some of the most popular bridal trends, including lace details, cap sleeves and intricate beading often for less than £500.  The Phase Eight Wedding Boutique is one of the best, offering contemporary, elegant designs perfect for destination, elopement and last minute weddings.

For time-limited bride where designer and custom-made dresses are out of the question, the collection offers a wide range of dresses in different styles, I am particularly in love with the short ones! From the cute and flirty Belle Tulle to the classically styled Amelia Rose, there is something to suit a range of sizes, styles and pockets.

Charlotte at Phase Eight says ~

“The short wedding dress is the perfect choice for an eloping bride. Whether you are opting for a classic yet understated visit to a quaint registry office or deciding to jet off to an exotic destination, a feminine yet flirty style will make a statement while keeping your look simple and elegant.  I suggest keeping accessories to a minimum and embracing the simplistic beauty of the dress”

An elopement wedding is such a romantic choice, just the two of you declaring your love and exchanging promises, remembering just ‘getting married’ is what it’s really all about.  And remember you can still have a big party on your return to share your romantic story!

Are you planning an elopement or last-minute wedding? Tell us all about it and how you found the search for ‘the dress’!

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
