supplier spotlight: wedding SOS with bride & glory

Hey lovely ladies!  Hands up how many of you are planning your wedding right now? I’m guessing most of you! And I’m guessing you’re probably a little stressed and hoping all your weeks, months, (years?!) of planning come together perfectly on your big day and everything runs without a hitch? Well, I hate to be the one to break it to you, and please don’t have a panic attack on me, but chances are something will go wrong!  Whether big (hopefully not!) or small though, there’s lots you can do to make sure that when something does go wrong, you have the tools to fix it!  How? Well, first of all you could learn a lot from Anna of Bride & Glory, who last week hosted a mini-masterclass sharing her top tricks and treats, and her amazing SOS basket with a group of gorgeous bride-to-be at the beautiful Johanna Hehir bridal boutique in Central London.  Being lovely, Anna invited me along, and we finally got to meet after months of mutual twitter and instagram love!

So there we were, surrounded by amazing dresses, beautiful details, glowing candlelight and pretty flowers (all orange of course, Anna’s favourite colour!) as Anna explained how she ended up as a wedding coordinator – after being an events manager, and finding her niche after planning her own wedding & realising it doesn’t always go to plan!  – and her role looking after the behind-the-scenes aspects of a wedding day.

With some hilarious anecdotes of wedding day mishaps (nothing too serious, just funny!) she shared her knowledge and experience of weddings before unveiling her rather glamorous SOS basket and her motto – spare the drama!  Filled with everything you could possibly need on your wedding day including a hammer, plasters, ribbon and gaffer tape in two different colours (who knew?!) she explained the contents and how each item might be useful!   Afterwards, the basket was left open for the brides-to-be to rummage through, and get ideas of what they might include in their own (mini) SOS wedding day kit.

Hugs for the lovely Johanna Hehir – awww!

Anna offers professional wedding planning and coordination services throughout the UK, and with her extreme organisation skills (and super SOS kit) she’s one lady you’d be lucky to have around on your big day! Find out more by visiting

After a decade-long career in corporate interior design, I took a giant leap of faith, left the security of an office job, and founded B.LOVED in 2011 as a platform for romantic and beautiful wedding inspiration. Thanks to a whole lot of creativity, hard work and passion, my gamble paid off and B.LOVED became one of the leading wedding blogs in the UK.

I'm also a co-founder at The Brand Studio, where I design and curate beautiful photoshoots for wedding and lifestyle brands, as well as running wedding industry community the B.LOVED Hive where I support and nurture wedding pros building industry leading businesses. Yep, I definitely have the best job in the world.
