The Beauty of Simplicity

The more modern minimalist wedding style is a trend that has certainly stolen my heart and this less is more aesthetic is not that easy to pull off! I adore the work of new stylist and planner, Claud Events Studio, and her way of mixing textures, colours and details to create this fashionable style in a timeless way. Today on B.LOVED she shares her Beauty of Simplicity shoot with the wonderful fine art photographer Gyan Gurung Photography with a neutral palette of grey and white, with a hint of wood and dashes of green.

“Set in a light minimal space, we curated a concept that focuses on the  beauty of simplicity. Florals can often be heavily relied on with in wedding design, and although we appreciate the power and beauty of floral design, Gyan and I were drawn to exploring the simplicity a couple of eucalyptus sprigs can bring to a table scape. It’s definitely true to say ‘less is more’.With a detail focused approach, we worked with light textures, modern tableware, skinny candlesticks and a stripped back colour palette of greys and metallics. The stationery by Beautifully Lost Studio was a perfect mix of soft handwritten calligraphy against typography, clean lines against ripped edges of textured paper pared with a vellum envelope and overlays. The metallic gown was teamed with natural make up and a loose low bun for an effortless and laid back modern look.”
