The Festive Issue: Bouquet Recipes
Good afternoon b.loved readers! b.team petal queen Liz from Blue Sky Flowers here, and I’m ready to share some festive bouquet inspiration with you ! This is such a vibrant and festive time of year it is very easy to fall into the trap of traditional red and green … so we have rung the changes and plumped for cranberry and sage instead …
The most simple bouquet of luscious dark red amaranthus and soft green mimosa foliage – what could be simple and yet more yummy than this simple pairing – lush, glam yet budget friendly. Dark red James Storey orchids or even ginger flowers could be used at other times of the year to create a similar monochrome feel.
For our second bouquet I created a more classic, but loose, hand-tied bouquet introducing dark Black Touch dahlia, penisetum grasses, senecio, black calla lilies. As an alternative, Black Baccara roses are available all year round as is eucalyptus which will give a similar feel at any time for a similar cost.
