White & Green Wedding Inspiration Striking in it’s Subtlety
Oxi Photography shares this simple white and green wedding shoot which feels like Spring emerging! We love the creative floral design by The Petal Shed with a magnificent modern floral installation filled with fashionable greenery, white foxgloves, roses and growing up to a peck with whimsical branches. It’s the vision of Rosie Barrett and Clare Lloyd Accessories who share more more about their ideas and details here;
“Taking inspiration from Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s poem “Silent Noon”, this shoot brings together a team of talented craftspeople to create a look striking in its subtlety. The pared back white palette gives us the space to really explore all the delicate details that can sometimes get overlooked. In the absence of colour, the interplay of patterns, textures, light and shade all become more important. With their focus on sublime materials and exquisite hand-crafted details the resulting images, though deceptively simple, have a timeless and otherworldly elegance.
Rossetti’s poem became a muse for us at quite an early stage, and directly informed the choice of foraged cowparsley and hawthorn blossom in the florals. Its words carry a sense of quiet stillness, speaking of the beauty in the smallest details.”
